Inter market: three candidates to replace Conte

There is so much bitterness in the mouth at home Inter after yet another European failure sanctioned by the goalless draw in the last match of the group stage of Champions League on Wednesday evening a San Siro against the Ukrainians of the Shakhtar Donetsk.

Now the minimum goal for Antonio Conte is the Scudetto, but there is a bad mood in the management and, according to sources close to the team, Beppe Marotta he would already have clear ideas about some possible substitutes for the Nerazzurri coach and would be testing the ground in this regard. The Inter CEO would have identified three possible candidates to take the place of Conte to try to lead the team towards the Scudetto.

Above all there is Max Allegri, a Scudetto won with Milan and five consecutive with Juventus: perhaps not exactly the most loved by the fans for his past with the two great enemies but, according to Marotta, capable of enhancing young talents and reaching the end, or almost, to all competitions.

The second is Maurizio Sarri: it is true that he has come back from two bad experiences at Chelsea and Juventus, however ended with a victory in the Europa League with the Blues and a Scudetto with the Bianconeri: his game, shown above all during the three seasons at Napoli, is one of the most appreciated of our football.

The third option is Marcelino, who came to light especially in the two years at Valencia from 2017 to 2019 with the victory in the Copa del Rey and with a good performance in the European cups, the Spanish coach four years ago was already close to Inter who in the end preferred Stefano Pioli.

In short, not only revolution in the rose of players: the Nerazzurri management wants a change also on a technical level after a year and a half during which Antonio Conte was below the expectations of everyone, club and fans.
