L’Inter speeds up operations to close a double hit from Chelsea. The CEO Beppe Marotta and the sports director Piero Ausilio are about to complete an operation started months ago: the transfer of Emerson Palmieri e Olivier Giroud in Milan.
According to rumors arriving from England, both players have long given their go-ahead to the Nerazzurri club, which is negotiating with the London club to find a favorable deal. After the hit Judge on the right, Marotta plans to close on the left by taking Palmieri for no more than 25 million euros: Chelsea’s claim is 30 million, but with a series of bonuses the milestone seems to be one step away.
Marotta has the situation under control despite the interest of Juventus, and he plans to close within a few days for a very precious player, the ideal in Conte’s 3-5-2 for his defensive and offensive abilities and for his experience in the Italian championship.
Regarding Giroud, the French striker is in a shortlist of candidates for the role of deputy Lukaku, where they also appear Dzeko and Mandzukic. The French striker has recently renewed with the Chelsea for another season, and Inter plans to take it out on loan with redemption, perhaps linking the operation to that of Palmieri.
