Inter are still looking to sign a new midfielder and have reportedly set their sights on Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has not been included in Ange Postecoglou’s squad for his first three Premier League games or last night’s FA Cup game, which they lost to Fulham on penalties.
Ndombele spent last season on loan with Scudetto champions Napoli, where he made 1,261 minutes of action in 40 total appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
as reported TMWInter are not sure Stefano Sensi will be a reliable option for Simone Inzaghi this season, so they are looking to add a new midfielder to the squad. On his target list is Ndombele, who could leave north London before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Nerazzurri are fans of the 26-year-old, who was recently linked with a Genoa move, due to his physique and low overall cost.
Ndombele joined Tottenham in July 2019 from Olympique Lyon in a high-profile deal worth around €62m, a price never quite lived up to in north London.
