Inter Milan was left behind Cremona in the Italian League. The host’s goal had made the Nerazzurri nervous before finally winning.
Inter travel to the Giovanni Zini Stadium, Cremona, Sunday (29/1/2023) in the morning WIB, to fight Cremonese. Inter had conceded first.
In the 11th minute, David Okereke was able to break into Andre Onana’s goal. David Okereke’s beautiful goal from outside the penalty box made Cremonese lead 1-0.
Coach Simone Inzaghi apparently called the goal to make Inter nervous. Understandably, the Nerazzurri previously lost to Empoli, so it is feared that conceding a goal from the opponent could make the team falter.
However, Inter Milan actually responded to the goal. Lautaro Martinez’s two goals sealed the victory for The Big Snake with a score of 2-1 over Cremona.
“I’m very happy and I congratulate my team on a great performance. They took the best approach, and unfortunately then conceded a class goal, which could have created problems for us after the defeat to Empoli. But otherwise, we stayed calm and concentrated.” said Inzaghi to DAZN.
“It was difficult against a Cremonese side, who in the last few days knocked Napoli out of the Coppa Italia and picked up a point in Bologna. I’m very happy with the character my team showed, because after such an unpleasant defeat, conceding a goal early in the game can be very damaging, ” he said.
Victory makes Inter Milan collected 40 points and is in second place in the Italian League standings, overtaking AC Milan, which has collected 38 points from 19 matches. Temporary Cremona still the caretaker with 8 points.
