‘Inter are stronger without Lukaku’

Jakarta

Inter Milan lost Romelu Lukaku which is the key to winning Scudetto last season. But now they are considered even stronger.

Inter Milan sold Romelu Lukaku for 115 million euros to Chelsea this summer. The sale is suspected to be inseparable from the financial crisis that ensnared Nerazzurri.

After Lukaku’s departure, Inter invested some money to bring in Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa. Dzeko was recruited free of charge, while Correa was loaned with a permanent obligation.

Former Brescia and Piacenza striker Dario Hubner assesses Inter Milan worked well to replace Lukaku’s departure. The beloved one now have Lautaro Martinez, Dzeko, Joaquin Correa and Alexis Sanchez up front.

Hubner is looking forward to Inter Milan as the strongest candidate to win.

“Inter are still a good team. Lazio, Napoli and Roma will have a good season and Juve will go up again,” he told Tuttomercatoweb quoted Football Italia.

“Milan can challenge for the title too, I think there will be six teams fighting and the key will also depend on the tournament competition. I still see the Nerazzurri ahead of the others.”

“Inter lost Lukaku, but now have three very good strikers and their front line is stronger now. They changed the way they play with (Simone) Inzaghi and this team can be very good.”

Hubner also estimated Juventus will be a little inconvenient after departure Cristiano Ronaldo. Because no one can be relied on to get more than 20 goals per season.

“It’s not easy to lose someone who scores 25 goals, but their style of play will change. Paulo Dybala will score more goals regularly, but Morata will never be able to get 25 goals in Serie A,” said the 2001/2002 Capocannoniere title winner.
