An alleged scam, with a rudimentary scheme. Like the one told by the unscrupulous financier played by Matthew McConaughey in the film Wolf of Wall Street: “Take the client’s money and put it in your pocket”. The alleged scammer, who has been frozen by an English commercial court of 61.4 million euros, is 54-year-old Massimo Bochicchio, owner of several investment companies in Great Britain.

Among those who had entrusted him with their money, there would also be the Inter coach Antonio Conte who claims from Bochicchio non-payments for 30.6 million euros. The newspaper “La Verità” was the first to tell the story.

The vehicle through which the financier – with a past in the HSBC bank (unrelated to the story) – would have confiscated the capital is the Kidman fund. Investors, including Conte himself, were expecting payments with the return of the capital plus the yield by 30 June, to be divided according to the shares paid. The money did not arrive, and the victims went to the court asking for urgent protection, pending a more in-depth investigation into the case. With two different measures, the judge froze an assets attributable to Bochicchio for 61.4 million. In the inventory of assets (now unavailable to the financier) there is also a luxurious London apartment in Holland Park.
