Buenos Aires, May 3 (EFE).- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) approved a loan for Argentina for 265 million dollars to finance programs aimed at people with disabilities, official sources reported on Wednesday.
The Argentine Ministry of Economy highlighted in a statement that, with this decision, “the IDB offers its support to Argentine public policies on disability through the promotion and effective approach of people with disabilities to their legitimate rights of access to various basic services and benefits.
The funds will be used, among other things, to strengthen the capacity of the National Agency for Disability of Argentina.
This loan is part of a line of investment projects confirmed by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, together with the head of the IDB, Ilan Goldfajn, in Washington.
