MILAN (ITALPRESS) – In the last recovery of the twenty-first matchday of Serie A, Inter beat Atalanta 4-0 and fly +12 over second-placed Juventus. At San Siro the match was decided by goals from Darmian and Lautaro in the first half, and from Dimarco and Frattesi in the second. Despite a decent start, Atalanta was totally outclassed by a ferocious and perfect Inter in both phases of the game. At the start of the match it was the Goddess who became more dangerous, also seeing the goal of a possible 1-0 canceled out: De Ketelaere’s goal was canceled out by Colombo after a VAR review, due to the touch of the arm by the assistman Miranchuk. After a quarter of an hour of study, Inter also revs up the engine, producing continuous scoring opportunities. The Inter lead came in the 26th minute and was scored by Darmian with the complicity of an awkward Carnesecchi, incapable of holding onto the low exiting ball. Three minutes later Darmian comes close to scoring a one-on-one double with Carnesecchi, who this time does well to block with his feet. In the 46th minute the second goal was scored by Lautaro: Pavard served the Nerazzurri captain who, thanks to good control, eluded the opponent’s mark and scored the 2-0 with his left foot. In the second half, VAR was again the protagonist, again to recognize a touch of the hand, this time from Hateboer: from the spot Lautaro was hypnotized by Carnesecchi, but, on the rebound, Dimarco arrived to score the 3-0 goal. Which extinguishes any ambitions of the guests and the final half hour is pure academic for Inter. In the 71st minute the substitute Frattesi scores the poker, following an assist from Sanchez from a free kick, before leaving the pitch due to an adductor problem. But it is the only discordant note of an evening that smells of the championship for Inzaghi’s boys, with their eleventh consecutive victory in the new year.
