The mayor of Irapuato, Lorena Alfaro García, said that she continues to intend to request a loan for Irapuato, since although the previous administration left around 200 million pesos, that resource is not freely available but works from 2021 to be executed in 2022.
He said that the process to apply for the loan is underway and pointed out that when everything is ready, the proposal will be presented to the City Council and it will be there when the municipality requests a loan is authorized or ruled out.
He stated that the resource left by the past administration is not a freely available cash remnant, but is a resource labeled with resources from that year and they enter as remnants for this year, so that resource cannot be used for other actions.
“Everything is still going on and when we are ready we will make the proposal to the City Council in the first instance, the resources that remain are not remnants in cash that may be freely available, they are resources from 2021 that are already labeled with contracts for that year and are entered as remaining by 2022 and are not freely available resources”.
They do not rule out changing dealership to Mounted Police
Likewise, the mayor Lorena Alfaro García said that dignified attention is guaranteed to the horses that make up the Mounted Police to keep them in the best conditions and did not rule out a change in the corporation’s dealership.
He said that any decision that is made around the Mounted Police Corporation will always be seeking to improve the conditions of the animals so that they receive decent treatment and that they fulfill their functions as part of the security strategy in the municipality.
“We have to give them the service, the attention and always in the best conditions for the animals that we are protecting there, I don’t know what the process is about, but any decision we make will always be in search of improving the conditions in which are found in this case and in particular the animals”.
