CITY OF PUEBLA, Pue. – In order to keep Puebla free of rabies in people like in the last 23 years and 13 in dogs and cats, the current government of Sergio Salomón, through the Ministry of Health, started the Intensive State Day against Canine and Feline Rabies in first level medical units of the 10 health jurisdictions.

In this regard, the head of the agency, José Antonio Martínez García announced that this campaign will be carried out until April 22, with the slogan “Vaccination is the key to rabies prevention.”

Likewise, he explained that the goal is to apply one million 202 thousand 031 doses, for which he urged the people of Puebla to bring their domestic animals (dogs and cats), since the vaccine is free and meets protection standards. to avoid rabies disease.

Finally, Martínez García highlighted that the anti-rabies dose is applied to healthy animals from the first month of age; the reinforcement at three and six months of age, as well as every year from the date of last application.
