Khartoum: Clashes between military generals intensify in Sudan. 22 civilians were killed in an airstrike in a residential area of Omdurman, a city near Khartoum.
Sudan’s health department said the airstrike was one of the deadliest yet in weeks of fighting between rival generals. The clash is between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Force.
Last month, 17 people, including five children, were killed in an airstrike in Khartoum. According to UN estimates, 3000 people have been killed and 29 lakh people have left their homes in Sudan’s military rebellion.
