Matt Britton, winner of last year’s championship using the yacht “Twister” with a number (two sailing crew only), and during this year’s tournament seeks to win the championship for the third time, said: “My colleague, Mitch, and I are delighted to participate in this year’s championship and defend the title that we won.” Last year, using the yacht “Twister”, we will seek to win the championship for the third time and for the first time in its history spanning more than 30 years, and our participation in this year’s session is achieved thanks to the great support that we received from our partners from within the UAE (Al Seer Marine Services and B&N O Marinas). I would like to point out that we have been participating in tournaments for 18 years, but the 2023 tournament is characterized by the strength of the participating teams and the spirit of victory they possess, and we look forward to winning it. I would like to note the popularity and spread of bilateral competitions that require two sailors, one of whom is sleeping and the other is driving the boat.
