Secretary General PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto said that his party was in intense dialogue with Team 7. This was to carry out a detailed coordination in managing the communication strategy and grand narrative. Ganjar Pranowo continue the Jokowi program.
“And the PDI is struggling by carrying out an intense dialogue with Mr. President Jokowi. Last night he even met with Team 7 given by President Jokowi. It carried out detailed coordination in setting up a communication strategy, and a big narrative from Mr. Ganjar Pranowo for Indonesia’s fast forward move. is a continuation of Pak Jokowi,” Hasto told reporters at Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday (28/7/2023).
Hasto said that in the process his party hopes that Jokowi’s very strong historical and bonding ties will provide support. He said he was sure that the 7 team formed by Jokowi was very intense until last night he designed an idea machine.
“With this process, of course, we hope that the historical relationship, the very strong emotional bonding, in the end, Mr. Jokowi will provide support. We are sure that considering the work with team 7 that he gave us was also very intense, even last night they were team 7. designing an idea machine,” he said.
“What will issue narratives from Pak Ganjar Pranowo’s leadership is continuity with Pak Jokowi’s leadership,” he continued.
Hasto has not yet announced the names of team 7. According to him, team 7 is the person who has accompanied Jokowi for more than 7 years.
“Yes, the name of Team 7 has indeed accompanied Pak Jokowi for more than 7 years in building effective communication for the people. Because of that, Pak Ganjar also has the same character as Pak Jokowi, going down to the blusukan,” he said.
“Team 7 has a professor. In it there are those who are good at social media, there are those who are good at branding, there are those who are good at formulating a kind of smart card. This is a very complete kind, just the name is team 7, loyal to the goal,” he added.
Hasto said team 7 were professionals who could be a good bridge with Jokowi’s communication strategy. He also explained the characteristics of team 7.
“The important thing is to be loyal to the goal. These names, in essence, the name of the 7 team works professionally, then becomes a very good bridge with President Jokowi’s communication strategy. Then there are branding experts, there are communication experts, some have professor degrees, some are good at humor, it’s important to discuss with Pak Jokowi,” he said.
“In this way Pak Ganjar’s communication will continue, Pak Jokowi’s communication, communication with the party, with volunteers, with the people. A narrative will later be developed. So last night Team 7 made an idea engine, a narrative whose effectiveness will later be seen,” he continued .
