For example, the benchmark results of the high-end processor were shown on social networks Intel Core i9-14900K, which was compared to the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D in 25 different games. She should have a picture from the official presentation of Intel. The image shows that the new Intel can be slower in some games, by up to 23%, but in many of them it is a little faster and in some even quite significantly, also by up to 23%.
However, extreme observations should not be given too much weight in the overall evaluation, the average will be more conclusive about the overall performance (of course, if you do not primarily play the games that create that extreme). And when we do the math, it comes out to just under 3% in favor of Intel. The question is how it would turn out, for example, against the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which, although it has much fewer cores, its performance in games is very similar to the flagship, at the same time it costs significantly less (this is a problem that not only Intel but even AMD, whose 7950X3D is not exactly a cost-effective gaming processor compared to the 7800X3D).
