It’s old-fashioned mud throwing again. This time it is Intel who is dealing blows to Apple. With an old acquaintance in the lead!
In one way or another, tech companies always really enjoy making each other black. Apple always put Windows in the presentations as something bad and Intel has been the enemy since last year. With the new M1 chip from Apple, Intel is now the bogeyman.
Intel will not get over it and comes with a counter-action against Apple. They have humor, because an old acquaintance has been brought in. The same actor who used to be in I’m A Mac commercials was now recommending Intel. At the expense of Apple, of course. For example, innovations with products with an Intel chip are discussed. Apple is on the sidelines and is dismissed as boring.
Of course it is bland. The comments on YouTube on Intel’s action are not all equally positive. Many reviews show that the Apple Macs with the M1 chip simply perform better than the Intel chips they used for this. Nevertheless, it is funny to see the I’m a Mac actor in action again after all these years.
