Raja Koduri he has a very interesting career and has replaced several large companies. He worked, for example, at AMD, where he was lured away by Apple, then in 2013 AMD took him back. In 2017, Koduri then moved to Intel, where he is leaving after more than 5 years. Here he pushed for a significant boost to Intel’s graphics division, which, however, still cannot fully compete with companies such as Nvidia or AMD. For example, dedicated Intel Arc graphics cards appeared, but they suffer from untuned drivers and not very good efficiency, which should improve with the new generation of Battlemage. Another venture was, for example, the Ponte Vecchio computing GPU or the Blockscale ASIC for Bitcoin mining.
But a few days ago, Koduri announced that he is leaving Intel and starting his own software company, which should focus on a very hot topic in recent months, generative artificial intelligence. In his case, it should be systems for games, media and entertainment. Koduri wants to publish more information about the new project in the coming weeks.
Thank you Pat and @intel for many cherished memories and incredible learning over the past 5 years. Will be embarking on a new chapter in my life, doing a software startup as noted below. Will have more to share in coming weeks. https://t.co/8DcnNdso3r
