The new Intel Core i7-10700K processor offers the same performance as the previously top Core i9-9900K for a significantly better price. For demanding players, it is an attractive alternative to successful Ryzens from AMD.
Until a few months ago, Intel’s top offerings for the LGA1151 platform were Core i9-9900 processors in several variants. They offer eight cores with Hyper-Threading support, so they can process 16 threads simultaneously. The price of the Core i9-9900KF without an integrated graphics adapter was slightly below fourteen thousand crowns.
With the tenth generation of Core processors and the LGA1200 platform, Intel has offered ten cores for the top i9-10900 models, and the octa-core has already gone slightly lower in the offer as the Core i7-10700. As a result, their price dropped significantly, and subsequently also the price of the Core i9-9900 models.
