North American semiconductor champion Intel has officially kicked off the construction of two new chip mega-factories in Arizona. An investment of 20 billion dollars which will bring the Californian giant into the advanced chip foundry market, trusted today by the Taiwanese TSMC and the South Korean Samsung.
