The deal will allow ASUS to continue to serve and support customers with 10th to 13th generation NUC systems, as well as to design and develop future NUCs. Along with this, ASUS will establish a new business division “ASUS NUC BU”.
With regards to its NUC business, Intel recently announced that it has “shifted its strategy to allow ecosystem partners to continue to innovate and grow their product lines.” Form that it became clear that this partner is ASUS. “ASUS’ expertise and track record in delivering industry-leading mini PCs to customers is well-positioned to continue driving innovation and growth in NUC system products,” the release said.
By the way, the NUC so far is not manufactured by Intel itself. For example, the original NUC was Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), Skull Canyon was ASUS or Pegatron, NUC 9 Pro was Hon Hai Precision Industry (FOXCONN), and so on.
