Integral dual leadership at ATP architects engineers, Frankfurt

Since October 2022, the architect Matthias Koch has been managing the 80-strong overall planning location in Frankfurt am Main together with the civil engineer and BIM expert Harald Stieber. With his extensive expertise, Koch has the best qualifications to further strengthen ATP as a brand in the Frankfurt region.

“I am convinced of the superiority of the integral planning approach, supported by the digital BIM model. Because sustainable, future-oriented buildings require close interdisciplinary cooperation between architects and engineers,” says Matthias Koch, explaining his decision to pursue a career at ATP architects engineers.

After studying architecture at the University of Kaiserslautern and the University of Edinburgh, Matthias Koch worked at the architectural office AS Plan in Kaiserslautern and at Kalmbacher & Ludwig Architekten in Frankfurt am Main. He then worked for KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten for over 17 years, most recently as head of the Frankfurt office. He has many years of experience in planning office buildings for private and public clients, hotels, residential construction projects, retail properties and buildings for research and teaching.

“With my highly esteemed colleague Matthias Koch, we are now perfectly positioned in Frankfurt to establish ourselves in the Rhine-Main area and beyond as an integral overall planner of innovative and sustainable buildings. We plan to further expand our existing competencies in office construction, mixed-use real estate and district developments and to serve even more laboratory construction, the pharmaceutical industry and high-quality industrial construction with future-oriented solutions,” says Managing Director Harald Stieber.
