While the collision repair market has been significantly affected by the coronavirus crisis, the CNPA has once again approached the FFA to find solutions to the problems encountered by bodybuilders. The professional organization in particular asked insurers to continue to cover the costs associated with the disinfection of vehicles.
Last April, the CNPA had already worked in this direction by asking the FFA and its members to finance these decontamination costs. “These commitments, mostly made until July 31, had been de facto extended until the end of September for a large part of them.“, Specifies the employers’ union. But the end or the very significant drop in the financial contributions of many insurers led the CNPA to reformulate its demands.
These requests were accepted, in the current state of affairs, until the end of February, with the principle of associating these measures with any period of obligation that would be imposed on companies in the health field.
This is not all: in a particularly difficult context for the workshop treasuries, the CNPA demanded from the FFA the implementation of various measures, in particular the reduction of payment periods to repairers. A request heard by insurers who have committed to speeding up their treatments.
