Every year in November, the motor vehicle insurance companies send out the invoice for the coming year. So for 2021. Will it be more or less in 2021? That is the question.
Well, I checked with my insurance company – that’s the Huk – and called them a few days ago. Lo and behold, they have lowered my annual fee for 2021. Fewer accidents, Corona less driven – you don’t know – ultimately it doesn’t matter. I will pay a good 50 € less from 2021. That’s around 15% of my old annual fee.
Since I drive less because of Corona, I have planned fewer km for 2021. The graduation at the Huk runs in 3,000 km steps per year. It is definitely worth asking your car insurance company.
The well-known comparison portals are also popular. Even if your insurance company promises a bonus, check your contract. This does not only apply to Huk customers. First look for the cheapest tariffs on Verivox or Check24. And then at Huk-Coburg’s online subsidiary Huk24, which is not represented on the portals, but often offers cheap tariffs. For everyone. If your current contract turns out to be good and cheap and you are satisfied with the insurance, you can stay – and get a bonus if necessary. However, if one of the points does not apply to you, it is better to switch.
In any case, make sure that the contractual content is at least the same, e.g. damage-free class and possible downgrading in the event of an accident. You don’t want to get worse – do you?
