Insulting and threatening tags against a policewoman in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges: two minors arrested

They were not taken directly into the bag. But they left this bag behind, which ultimately allowed them to be identified. Two men were presented to a judge at the Créteil court early this Friday morning after being taken into custody in the affair of the tags of insults and threats targeting a policewoman from the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges police station.

In mid-June, this policewoman had been named and insulted on more than ten tags written on walls in the municipalities of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Valenton and Limeil-Brévannes. The inscriptions “Dirty p…”, “we will see… your mother”, “NTM (N… your mother)” had appeared during the night, on portions of the wall that could reach up to two by five meters. This policewoman was mentioned there by name. The prefect of police had then announced a complaint via social networks following these tags “of incredible violence”.

Revenge linked to arrests

But a week ago, two men were put to flight while they were tagging in the same area. “They left objects behind them”, indicates this police source. Their analysis in order to exploit any traces was successful: two men already known to the police were identified thanks to their fingerprints, then arrested.

The trail of revenge linked to arrests that occurred a few days before mid-June was the right one. “These are retaliations linked to judicial successes in recent weeks,” continues this source. They focused on this policewoman. What happened created a lot of excitement ”.

In Créteil, eight months earlier, similar tags had been made at the foot of the Choux buildings, with the disclosure of the address of a BAC police officer following a tense exchange between young people from the neighborhood and officials of the night anti-crime squad. It was just after the discovery of inscriptions in L’Hay-les-Roses on the walls of the city of Pervenches, threats of rape targeted in particular relatives of police officers, women and children.
