In this regard, the Dubai Land Department has informed all building owners, developers, property management companies and tenants.
According to the circular issued by the Dubai Land Department, registration can be done via the Dubai REST App and the information should be communicated within a maximum of two weeks. All landlords, developers, property management companies and tenants must go through an eight-step process, including adding personal details and Emirates ID.
Once registered, the details of the roommate will be updated in the rental agreement. After opening the Dubai REST app and logging into the application, the steps can be completed one by one in eight steps. In Dubai, many Indians, including the Malayalees, live together in apartments and villas.
