Shadi Zalta, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, said that the education process is continuing and there are no measures or intentions to interrupt or suspend studies due to pathogenic viruses.
He explained that the ministry had received some complaints from parents that their children had been exposed to respiratory syncytial virus infection, and that they were treated immediately.
“Zalta” added, in a telephone interview on the “Cairo Talk” program with the media, Karima Awad, that Dr. students with justified medical reasons and those who request it to prove their state of health.
He specifies that there is a medical presence in the schools, and a periodic booklet on health and population has been issued, through the Health Assistant or specialist doctor to periodically check the school students. Any suspected case of symptoms will be isolated and reported to the guardian.
