Cadiz, May 2, 2023. The episcopal delegate of Cáritas Española, Vincent Martiny Pilar Neighborhood, a member of the People Development and Organizational Development Team, have made an institutional visit last week to Cáritas Diocesana de Cádiz. Both have been received by his management team, with whom she has held different meetings to exchange impressions on the work carried out in the institution.
In order to have a broad knowledge of the entity, Martín has participated in a talk-discussion with the volunteers of Cáritas from the parishes of the Bay of Cádiz, in the halls of the parish of Our Lady of Mercy of Cádiz. In this fraternal meeting, he highlighted the importance of the solidarity work that Caritas agents carry out and thanked them for their dedication and effort. In addition, he has had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the needs and difficulties they encounter in their day to day.
During the visit, Vicente Martín and Pilar Barrio have given training in the parish of San José Artisan of San Fernando, to the hired personnel of Cáritas Diocesana de Cádiz, in which they have addressed the most relevant aspects of the Code of Ethics and the Code of Conduct of the organization, stressing the importance of complying with the values and principles that govern their activity. Previously, they have had the opportunity to visit a training action for inclusion that is currently being taught in San Fernando.
As a balance of his visit, Vicente Martín wanted to highlight the work carried out by Cáritas in the Diocese of Cádiz, as well as the importance of his solidarity work and commitment to those most in need. «Cáritas is a leading organization in work for social justice and the dignity of people and we will continue working together for a fairer and more supportive world.«.
During the meetings held during the visit, an atmosphere of closeness and collaboration was breathed among all those present and the good climate and the willingness of all parties to work together to achieve the objectives of Cáritas were highlighted.
