We are looking for a full time Institutional Equity Sales Trader (m/f/x) to join our team in Frankfurt.

As a valuable team member, your responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining business relationships with German and European institutional clients of STIFEL in Europe
- Your focus will be the sales trading and sales expansion of the STIFEL US equities product into the German/European client base
- Ideally you will bring in existing and established client relationships which you are able to manage and to monetize
- Proactive generating and executing trading ideas by a direct client approach
- Generation and execution of client orders
- Daily support of the client trading desks
- Sourcing and distributing of market information
- Preparation and distribution of daily market reports including Morning Mails and intraday comments on news incl. evaluation of potential market impact of news etc.
- You will be part of a team of sales traders based in Frankfurt and dedicated to the distribution of the bank’s trading product High- and Low-Touch as well as European and US stocks
- This job includes a back-up and interims coverage of our US equity product’s sales trading live hours for a few weeks a year
Your profile and skill set:
- Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other relevant degree programs
- A passion for equities
- Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an equivalent role in an investment bank or broker
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Focused on top-quality service
- Excellent language skills in German and English, further language skills would be an advantage
- Intercultural competence, strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, high stress resistance to be able to cope with high workload in a fast-paced environment
