Within the framework of international relations and regional integration of the Institute of Public Health (ISP), as a National Medicines Agency and National Reference Laboratory, its director Catterina Ferreccio received a visit from Efren Elias, Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs Director of Latin America from US Pharmacopeia Latin America.
The objective of the meeting is to determine the areas of joint work with the North American organization, whose standards throughout the drug supply line have been adopted by several countries and manufacturers.
Efren Elias was accompanied in person by Sandra Vergara, Customer Engagement Manager Chile – Argentina, while online were Nilton Tojar, General Manager US Pharmacopeia and Marco Aurélio Guimarães, Support Director of the same organization.
Carlos Bravo, head(s) of the National Medicines Agency Department, participated on behalf of the ISP; Juan Roldán, head of the Pharmacovigilance Subdepartment; Felipe González, head (S) Subdepartment Control and Surveillance of Medicines and Cosmetics; Carolina Lobos, head of the Inspections Subdepartment; Marcos Carmona, head of the Physical-Chemical Section; Boris Duffau, head(s) National and Reference Department in Environmental Health; Macarena Garrido, technical chief of staff; Felipe Saavedra, head of the Legal Department; Ana San Martín, Advisory Units and Marcos Miranda, ISP Normalization project advisor.
