Celebrating the VI anniversary of the Institute of Natural Medicine and Complementary Therapy, this Friday the graduation ceremony of the 2020 diploma courses was held, from which 311 colleagues of the 19 Local Systems of Comprehensive Health Care (Silais) of the country.
The graduates are psychologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, physiatrists, general practitioners and nurses who were part of these diplomas in natural medicine, complementary therapies, ancestral traditional medicine, in their process of articulation with the Community and Afro-descendant Family Health Model.
“The commitment we make is to always be willing to serve our people, providing better care and now guarantee quality care for our patients”, expressed Vicente Sánchez from Silais Río San Juan.
Proud and grateful to God, this is how Jessenia del Carmen Mendoza showed herself upon completing one more diploma.
“With this new knowledge that we have acquired, we will give better care to the population in complementary and alternative therapies with more tools, solving their needs”he commented.
María José Mendoza Galán, director of the Institute of Natural Medicine, stated that the mandate of the buen Government was to integrate these practices into the Family and Community Health Model.
“Currently we have 292 Natural Medicine and Complementary Therapies clinics in the country, which in these 6 years has provided more than 824 thousand free care, as part of the restitution of rights that the buen Government, providing an alternative care in a holistic healing process for your health care “.
In these 6 years, 10,959 health workers have been trained, strengthening the care process with that love, dedication and holistic approach to care, from the management of emotions, balance, mind, body and spirit, improving the quality of life of Nicaraguans.
