Over the past year and a half, many Chinese crossovers have entered the market, so there are plenty of alternatives to the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Tiguan and Nissan X-Trail. True, with a caveat: if all of the listed cars could be bought in many versions and configurations, and most importantly, with all-wheel drive, then Chinese crossovers are offered with one or two power units and most often with single-wheel drive. All-wheel drive versions are available for Haval F7 (from 2.7 million rubles), Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max (from 4.151 million), Geely Atlas Pro (from 3.045 million), Tugella (from 3.945 million) and Monjaro (from 4.675 million). As for purebred SUVs, two models similar to the Jeep Wrangler appeared in 2023 – the BAIC BJ40 and Tank 300. It is worth noting that before the crisis, there were practically no SUVs of this size class (4.6 meters long) in Russia.
