Friends are desperately looking for the 54-year-old man who went missing in Oroszlány on November 18. Ferenc, who lives in Kisbér, was just taken home from the hospital, but there were some inconveniences on the way, as a result of which the man was discharged in Oroszlány. Since then, no one has seen him or given any sign of life. His partner is terribly worried about him, because as far as she knows, the man doesn’t even have a jacket.
Sz. Ferenc’s partner, Gyöngyi Nedoba, was informed on Friday that Ferenc had been taken to the hospital because he had an epileptic seizure. After the man’s condition improved, they decided that he no longer needed hospital care, so he could return home. They called the woman on Saturday morning to tell her that the man was being taken home.
“I work weekly shifts in Budapest, so when I’m not at home, my mother usually brings him food and takes care of him. I also called him to tell him that Ferenc was being sent home, to bring him food,” Gyöngyi told our newspaper.
However, the woman called her daughter back in the afternoon, disappointed that despite knocking and ringing the bell, the man did not open the door.
“At first I thought he might just be sleeping. I told him that it’s okay, just leave the food there in front of the door, then he’ll notice and bring it in,” he continued, but his mother went to the apartment the next day and saw that the food he is lying in front of the door in the same way.
They began to worry, so Gyöngyi asked her mother to go in and look around. That’s when they noticed that everything in the apartment was untouched and that Ferenc had no news or ashes.
I called the hospital, where a very nice and helpful lady answered the phone. He said that yes, Ferenc went home with him on the patient transport on Saturday, but there were problems, because Ferenc lit a cigarette in the car, even though he had been warned and told him several times, and then allegedly got into a fight with the other patient.
Gyöngyi elaborated, then added: because of this, her partner was left in Oroszlány.
“After that, his guardian immediately went to the police to report his disappearance. You should know about Ferenc that he was a massive alcoholic who is now on the verge of recovery. However, he can’t really orient himself in space and time. He doesn’t even have a phone, because he can’t use it. If someone were to ask him where he lives, he wouldn’t be able to tell you his address and he doesn’t have his documents either,” says the worried Gyöngyi, who also said that she knew from an acquaintance that the man didn’t even have a jacket.
This is not the first time that the man is wanted. According to Gyöngyi, she ran away from the hospital several times, reports a Riposte.
