Instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando of Nissin Foods in Japan, and were first launched in 1958 under the name Chikin Ramen. Over time, the manufacture of instant noodles involved advanced technology in the factory, but still needed human assistance. This is the Luosifen instant noodle factory in Liuzhou, China.
