As in previous years, the city of Offenbach is once again pointing out the forthcoming election dates in Offenbach and Hesse with a huge banner on the town hall.

Last Friday morning, industrial climbers began installing the 24 meter high and six meter wide banner on the outside of the building on the corner of Berliner Strasse and Marktplatz. In German, English, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek and Italian, those entitled to vote will be informed about the dates of the mayor election (September 17), the state election and possible runoff election (both on October 8) and the senior citizens’ council election ( October 25) – combined with a note to exercise the high good of the right to vote.

In addition to German and English, the selection of languages ​​corresponds to the languages ​​most frequently spoken in Offenbach according to official statistics. For more information, a QR code links directly to the city’s election pages (www.offenbach.de/wahlen). There you can find out who is entitled to vote for which election, which candidates are running and how to apply for a postal vote.
