SuaraSumbar.id – Instagram application launched a favorites feature that will affect the content that appears on the main Feed page.
“We want everyone to be able to build the best experience when using Instagram. Having control over what they see is an important step towards making that happen,” said Head of Communications for Instagram Southeast Asia, Putri Silalahi, Friday (25/3/2022).
With these features, the user’s Feed view will be separated, one of which will display the content in chronological order.

Instagram allows users to add up to a maximum of 50 accounts to enter the favorites view. This friend list can be changed as desired.
Content from favorite accounts will appear higher in the home view.
The following view contains uploads from the followed accounts. Instagram also displays the latest uploads at the top of this feature.
Meanwhile, the feed that has been appearing on Instagram’s initial appearance is called the homepage. The homepage contains uploads from people you follow and content recommendations from Instagram that are predicted to match the user’s interests.
The content that appears on the homepage is not chronologically, Instagram uses an algorithm to display the content in ranking order. (Between)
