jpnn.com – Instagram is preparing a way to refuse its users to upload TikTok videos to their newest feature, Reels.

Currently, Instagram says it is making changes to its algorithm and how to recommend Reels to users.

At the same time, Instagram through its @creators account uploaded tips on how to make content more visible to other users.

Instagram recommends Reels users to upload videos vertically and use the music in the Instagram library, or the sound that can be found on Reels.

The photo and video sharing platform also advises “starting trends” that others can follow, such as dancing, as well as “entertaining” and “fun” content.

Reels that are covered in text, are opaque, have a watermark or logo, will not be recommended often.

“We developed what we have learned from Explore to recommend fun and entertaining videos in places, such as the Reels tab, and personalize the experience,” spokeswoman Devi Narasimhan told The Verge, quoted Wednesday.

“We’re getting better at using signal ratings that help us predict whether people will find Reels entertaining and whether we should recommend it,” he added.
