Director of InstagramAdam Mosseri, explained in a video posted on the social network, the changes that have been included for content creators.

The first is that the duration of the reels is extended, allowing videos up to 90 seconds.

“Already in the past we had extended the duration of the reels to 60 seconds and now we include more. In addition, the second novelty is one of the most requested by creators and is that it will be allowed to include their own audio or import it from the gallery, just as they do with photos”, explained Mosseri.

Regarding the third novelty, he pointed out that it is the stickers to interact on the reels. The function would similarly be about interaction in the same way that they can be put into stories.

“I’m very excited about the fourth new feature, because it allows you to pin up to three posts to the ‘feed’, you can pin them by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner and selecting ‘Pin to your profile’.
