MENLO PARK, iNews.id – Instagram has announced a new tool called Security Checkup. This new tool will help users keep their Instagram accounts secure.
“Security Checkup will guide people whose accounts may have been hacked through the steps necessary to keep them safe,” Instagram said.
These steps, Instagram said, include checking login activity, reviewing profile information, confirming the account that shared the login information, and updating account recovery contact information such as phone number or email, as quoted by Ubergizmo.
While Security Checkup will help users better secure their accounts after being compromised, Instagram lists a few different ways. The goal is that users can keep their accounts secure from the start.
