Instagram prohibits adults from sending DM to teens if they don’t follow each other

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Instagram introducing new policies that limit interaction between adolescents and adults. This is done to make this video and photo sharing platform safer for teenagers.

Now, Instagram prohibits adults from sending messages DM (direct message) to the adolescent, if the adolescent does notfollow the adult.

Instagram also introduces “prompt safety “which will be visible in the account Instagram owned by teenagers, when they send DM messages to adult accounts deemed to be exhibiting suspicious behavior.
