Instagram on iPad is not a priority

From its 12 years, the iPad hosts millions of applications. But one, much in demand, remains absent: Instagram. If the social network is available in iPhone version (enlarged on the iPad) and has set up a way to publish from the web version, there is no native application. Which is strange from a company as huge as Meta.

In 2020, Adam Mosseri explained that the iPad is still not entitled to its version of the application, because Instagram a “lots of work to do but above all, because the company “does not have sufficient resources to develop on both platforms” (i.e. iOS and iPadOS). An excuse that we already found not very credible.

And this Sunday, Mosseri gave a layer by responding on Twitter to Youtuber Marques Brownlee. And this time the iPad would be the source of the problem. According to the CEO, iPad users are too few and therefore not a priority for Instagram.
