“Instagram now allows users to see who liked their stories after 48 hours”

On Instagram, the first users can now see who liked their stories even after 48 hours. This significantly increases the analysis time.

The Story Likes on Instagram are an indication for brands and creators of the relevance of their content and a nice sign of appreciation by third parties. Basically, likes and stories are visible for 24 hours. But social media expert Hammod Oh came across an Instagram feature test in which the story likes can even be seen by users for 48 hours.

This function was not yet available to us even in the test. However, the test suggests that the longer view of likes may soon be rolled out to everyone. However, it is also conceivable that only paying users of the Meta Verified subscription can access this feature.

In the Instagram app you can find Story Likes in the view overview, which you can open by swiping up on the relevant story.

A lot of likes are still considered a success for a social media post. The likes are almost irrelevant as a metric for campaigns and content, says our interview partner Tim David Pankonin. He reveals what is really important and why setting goals in advance is elementary.

If you still count likes today, it’s your own fault
