Thousands of users were left without access to the desktop site or the application for the Instagram ‘smartphone’, which on Thursday registered operational problems in several countries of the world, according data from the DownDetector portal.
Internet users reported that for about two hours the website of the social network showed an “error” message, while in the ‘app’ the news ‘feed’ was not updated. Also, some people were unable to access their accounts.
Countries affected include the US, the UK, Italy, Indonesia, Mexico and Australia.
