With a new device on Instagram users can “reset” their recommended content. This feature is designed to be useful for everyone, with a special focus on teenagers.

The platform recognizes that young users may sometimes encounter inappropriate or harmful content, such as accounts that promote inappropriate food or conspiracy theories. With a simple click, the unwanted suggestions can be removed from the Search, Reels and Feed section.
