Instagram caught trying to upload content from desktop

Previously, in addition to presenting features Music lyrics, Instagram also brings Reels for users in Indonesia.

This TikTok-like feature allows users to share short videos by harnessing their creativity.

“Today we are officially bringing Reels to Indonesian users. This is a new way to find entertaining short videos on Instagram,” said Facebook Indonesia Country Director, Pieter Lydian, in a virtual press conference, Wednesday (23/6/2021).

According to monitoring Tekno Liputan6.com, the Instagram Reels feature comes with slightly changing the appearance of the Instagram face.

There is an additional Reels icon in the middle of the Home, Explore, Store, and Profile tabs replacing the useful icons for adding content to Feeds.

Meanwhile, the icon has moved to the top side next to the Notifications and Direct Messages icons.

Lydian also invites Instagram users to create Reels content and use the hashtag #TampildiReels as a creative campaign from users in Indonesia.

“[Ini] At the beginning of our journey, we also invite users to use the hashtag #tampildireels and be creative and entertaining on Instagram,” he said.
