Instagram and Spotify They announced an alliance that will benefit those who use both platforms. Through an integration, Instagram users will now have a quick and easy way to add songs they discover on Instagram directly to their Spotify library, all without having to leave the app and in a simple way.

Users have been able to explore music on Instagram through Spotify for quite some time. For example, when you share a song from the streaming application, the integration with Instagram is quite nice and allows others to obtain information about the topic or even play the song on their Spotify.
«We know that music is all around you and sometimes that means right on your social networks. That’s why, starting today, Spotify is excited to introduce a new integration with Instagram that makes it even easier to instantly capture and add songs to Spotify from Instagram with just a simple tap,” Spotify explained to 9to5Mac.
Now both companies take their partnership a little further, offering a button to “add,” with just a couple of clicks, any song you see on Instagram directly to your favorites list in your Spotify library. This applies to tracks you see posted on Stories, Reels or Carousels.
Of course, for the new option to work, it will be necessary to link your Spotify account to Instagram. But at any time it will be possible to unlink the Spotify account from the Instagram settings.

The new experience will be available for iOS and Android users and is already coming to both platforms through an update to the Instagram app.
