Instagram: How to add your location to the story
Instagram gives you many options to edit your story however you like. You can also add your location. For this you have to follow the following steps:

- To do this, first open your Instagram app.
- Now open the story function. You can find this by tapping the profile picture on your profile or by going to your home page and swiping your finger to the right.
- Then take a photo you like. Alternatively, you can also upload a photo that you have previously taken.
- Once you’ve done that, you can add different filters to your story by swiping left or right.
- To add your location and other tools, you have to click on the second icon, a notepad with a smiling smiley face, in the top bar.
- Here you can now add your location by clicking on the “Location” tool. Once you have done that, you need to enter and select the location you are looking for.
- You can change the color of the icon by tapping the icon after selecting the location. Finally, you can post the finished story by tapping “Your Story” on the bottom left.
