A sudden and unexpected shock afflicted all groups of the Kuwaiti people after the ruling of the Constitutional Court annulling the Council of 2022 and the return of the Council of 2020, which was popularly angered, especially since all constitutional experts unanimously agreed on the impossibility of annulment, since the government took all precautions and possibilities and fortified its decisions, but the Constitutional Court had another opinion, which is Judgment and jurisprudence of the members of the Constitutional Court is debatable.
I was and still am by my previous opinion, which I expressed in many of my articles, that the Constitutional Court does not have the right to dissolve the National Assembly and nullify the will of the nation, even if the dissolution decree is contrary, because it is not possible in any way to fault the general electorate (whose number exceeds half a million voters) and because the participation of the nation And the people cannot be ignored for formal reasons related to the procedures, which may have been put in place by a person, whether a consultant or a minister, ignorantly or deliberately in order to thwart the entire electoral process.
The annulment of the current council and the return of the previous council will undoubtedly lead to an escalation of conflict and aggravation. Rather, I believe that matters will exacerbate more and more, especially since there is a personal dispute between the former speaker of the council and a significant number of former and current deputies, who are evident from their statements on social media that they feel Outraged, angry and angry at the return of Marzouq Al-Ghanim after the issuance of the ruling of the Constitutional Court.
The political scene will take an upward curve, and the 2020 Council will not be able to hold its sessions, because the conflict will intensify with the Speaker of the Council, Marzouq Al-Ghanim.
The Kuwaiti people as a whole feels sadness and sorrow for what happened to them, and this sadness does not stem from love in the 2022 Council or hate in the 2020 Council, but rather from the failure of successive governments to develop and combat rampant corruption, and the continued disruption and halt of all aspects of political, economic and development life, as Kuwait is in a spiral and a vicious circle Years and even decades ago, without any hope of reaching an end to the dark tunnel.
