Inspector General Marthinus Hukom was appointed Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) replaced the position of Commissioner General Peter R Golose who are entering retirement.
“Yes, the replacement is IJP Marthinus Hukom Kadensus 88,” said As SDM Kapolri Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Monday (4/12).
Dedi said that Marthinus’ presidential decree (keppres) appointing Mathinus had been signed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Dedi said that currently Marthinus is just waiting for his inauguration process to become the new Head of BNN.
“The presidential decree has been issued, we just have to wait for the inauguration,” said Dedi.
However, Dedi has not revealed who the person who replaced Marthinus was to occupy the position of Kadensus 88 Anti-terror Police.
Inspector General of Police. Marthinus Hukom previously served as Head of Special Detachment (Kadensus) 88 Anti-terror Police, as stated in the National Police Chief’s telegram letter Number ST/1377/KEP/2020 dated 1 May 2020.
The man who was born on January 30 1969 is a graduate of the National Police Education and Training Institute, Class of 1991, and once held the position of investigator in the field of investigations when he started his career at Densus 88 Anti-terror Police.
He also served twice as Deputy Head of Special Decades in 2015 and 2018, and was trusted as Deputy Director of Law Enforcement for Enforcement and Capacity Building of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) in 2017.
