Inspector General Ferdy Sambo has been deactivated as Head of the Propam Division. The deactivation was the aftermath of the shooting case by Bharada E against Brigadier Joshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
In response to this, Ferdy Sambo’s side respects the decision. Ferdy accepted that he was deactivated as the Head of the Propam Division of the National Police Headquarters.
“Whatever has been decided by the National Police Chief, my client respects and accepts it because it is the best decision,” said Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s lawyer, Arman Hanis as reported by the Jakarta Post. Detik newsMonday (18/7/2022).
As is known, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed the latest news of the investigation into the police shooting case at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. The shootout allegedly involved Bharada E and Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J, which resulted in the death of Brigadier Joshua.
Now, the National Police Chief has disabled Inspector General Ferdy Sambo from the position of Head of the Propam Division.
“Tonight, we have decided that Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo will be temporarily suspended,” said General Sigit, Monday (18/7).
