Al-Marsad Newspaper: US President Joe Biden’s lawyer said that Justice Department employees found 6 new documents at Biden’s home in Delaware dating back to his tenure in the Senate and another during his tenure as Vice President Barack Obama.
The president’s personal attorney, Bob Bauer, said in a statement that Justice Department employees obtained materials it classified as part of the investigation, including six documents marked with hashtags. According to Sky News.
Bauer confirmed that the searches took about 12 hours and included “all working, living and storage spaces in the Biden home.”
Biden’s attorney said the Justice Department has access to the president’s home, handwritten notes, files, papers, folders, memorabilia, mission lists and schedules dating back several decades.
Bauer added that Biden authorized department employees to enter his home and allow them to search the building for any potentially classified files.
Biden’s personal lawyer indicated that the president and his wife were not present during the search.
