How safe are lhbti+ students at the Gomarus reformatory school in Gorinchem? The Education Inspectorate investigated this after eight former students explained in the NRC newspaper last spring how miserable their school days were, as non-heterosexuals. One of them, for example, described how, as a fifteen-year-old girl, she was forced by the school board to come out to her parents, while she was not yet ready to do so.
